Ok, so the “Big” news that I’ve been teasing about is…(drumroll, please)… as of January 1, 2012, we will no longer be known as “Cocoa Latte”. Our new name is…wait for it… “David Ramirez Chocolates”!!! I can’t even tell you how proud I am to see my husband put his name (and hard earned reputation) on the brand that he has created! He has been reluctant to do so until now out of modesty, but I’m so happy to see him claim what is rightfully his. 
In other very exciting news, “David Ramirez Chocolates” has been picked up by ABC Fine Wine & Spirits. In the next couple of weeks, our products will be in 8 Orlando area stores. If that goes well, there is the possibility of expanding into other markets… (hello, Tampa)
The name change does present a few marketing challenges. Unfortunately, Facebook won’t let me rename our page, so I had to create a new one entirely. I also changed our twitter handle. The new one is @DR_Chocolates. Our new website address is www.davidramirezchocolates.com.
